    COVID-19 UPDATE

    IEEE Computer Society and the IEEE MIPR 2020 Organizing Committee have been monitoring the developing COVID-19 situation. The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our top priority. After studying and evaluating the announcements, guidance, and news released by relevant national departments, we are announcing that the IEEE MIPR 2020, scheduled to be held in-person in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China will now be converted into an all-digital conference experience. The dates of the conference will remain the same. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. More details regarding the conference and online registration will follow.
    General Registration: We are pleased to announce that Click to Register is now complimentary for general participation (i.e. free for those who are not authors with accepted papers). Regardless of the fee waiver, registration is still required to participate in the online sessions.
    Registration for Authors: Fee-based Registration of authors is still required to cover accepted papers.
    Already Registered? Full refunds will be available for general registrations that have already been made (i.e. participants not covering any papers).
    Presentation Online: The authors of accepted papers will be asked to upload video presentations of their papers. We’ll contact them via email with specific requirements and detailed instruction

About IEEE MIPR


Huge amounts of multimedia data are increasingly available and the knowledge of spatial and/or temporal phenomena becomes critical for many applications, which requires techniques for the processing, analysis, search, mining, and management of multimedia data. The 3rd IEEE International Conference on Multimedia Information Processing and Retrieval (IEEE-MIPR 2020) will take place in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China on August 6-8, 2020. The conference will provide a forum for original research contributions and practical system design, implementation, and applications of multimedia information processing and retrieval. The target audiences will be university researchers, scientists, industry professionals, software engineers and graduate students who need to become acquainted with new theories and technologies in multimedia information processing and retrieval.
