| Dong Liu received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China, in 2004 and 2009, respectively. He was a Member of Research Staff with Nokia Research Center, Beijing, China, from 2009 to 2012. He joined USTC in 2012 and became a Professor in 2020. He had visited Microsoft Research Asia from July 2005 to July 2008, and from December 2015 to August 2016, respectively. His research interests include image and video processing, coding, analysis, and data mining. He has authored or co-authored more than 100 papers in international journals and conferences, which were cited more than 6000 times according to Google Scholar (h-index is 32). He has 20 granted patents. He has several technique proposals adopted by international and domestic standardization groups. He received the 2009 IEEE TCSVT Best Paper Award and the VCIP 2016 Best 10% Paper Award. He and his students were winners of several technical challenges held in ICCV 2019, ACM MM 2019, ACM MM 2018, ECCV 2018, CVPR 2018, and ICME 2016. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, CCF, and CSIG, a Member of ACM, and an elected member of MSA-TC of IEEE CAS Society. He serves or had served as the Chair of IEEE 1857.11 Standard Working Subgroup (previously known as FVC-SG), an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Signal Processing, an Organizing Committee Member for VCIP 2022, ICMR 2021, ICME 2021, ICME 2019, and WCSP 2014. He had organized several special sessions/workshop/challenges in ICME, FG, ICIP, VCIP, MMSP, and ChinaMM. |

| Shan Liu received the B.Eng. degree in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University, the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, respectively. She is a Tencent Distinguished Scientist, General Manager of Tencent Media Lab and General Manager, Platform Technologies of Tencent Online Video. She was formerly Director of Media Technology Division at MediaTek USA. She was also formerly with MERL and Sony, etc. She has been an active contributor to international standards for more than a decade and has had numerous technical proposals adopted into various standards, such as VVC, HEVC, OMAF, DASH, MMT and PCC. She served co-Editor of H.265/HEVC SCC and H.266/VVC standards. She also served on the Editorial Board of IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology (2018-2021) and received the Best AE Award in 2019 and 2020. She is a vice chair of IEEE Data Compression Standards Committee. She is an APSIPA Distinguished Industry Leader. She is a Fellow of the IEEE. She holds more than 300 granted US patents and has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers and one book. Her research interests include audio-visual, volumetric, immersive and emerging media compression, intelligence, transport and systems. |

| João Ascenso is a professor at the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon and is with the Multimedia Signal Processing Group of Instituto de Telecomunicações. João Ascenso is very active in the ISO/IEC MPEG and JPEG standardization activities and currently chairs the JPEG AI ad-hoc group that targets the evaluation and development of learning-based image compression. He has published more than 100 papers in international conferences and journals and has more than 3400 citations over 35 papers (h-index of 26). He is an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing and was an associate editor of the IEEE Signal Processing Letters. He is an elected member of the IEEE Multimedia Signal Processing Technical Committee. He acts as a member of the Organizing Committees of well-known international conferences, such as PCS 2022, EUVIP 20202, IEEE ICME 2020, among others. His current research interests include visual coding, quality assessment, light-fields, point clouds and holography processing, indexing and searching of multimedia content, and visual sensor networks. |

| Jiaying Liu received the PhD degree (Hons.) in computer science from Peking University, Beijing China, 2010. She is currently an Associate Professor, Boya Young Fellow with the Wangxuan Institute of Computer Technology, Peking University, China. She has authored more than 100 technical articles in refereed journals and proceedings, and holds 60 granted patents. Her current research interests include multimedia signal processing, compression, and computer vision. She is a senior member of IEEE, CSIG and CCF. She was a visiting scholar with the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California, from 2007 to 2008. She was a visiting researcher with Microsoft Research Asia, in 2015 supported by the Star Track Young Faculties Award. She has served as a member of Multimedia Systems and Applications Technical Committee (MSA TC), and Visual Signal Processing and Communications Technical Committee (VSPC TC) in IEEE Circuits and Systems Society. She is also a member of Image, Video, and Multimedia (IVM) and Signal and Information Processing Theory and Methods (SIPTM) Technical Committee in APSIPA. She received the IEEE ICME 2020 Best Paper Award and IEEE MMSP 2015 Top10% Paper Award. She has also served as the Associate Editor of the IEEE Trans. on Image Processing, the IEEE Trans. on Circuit System for Video Technology and Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation, the Technical Program Chair of IEEE ICME-2021/ACM ICMR-2021, the Area Chair of CVPR-2021/ECCV-2020/ICCV-2019, and the CAS Representative at the ICME Steering Committee. She was the APSIPA Distinguished Lecturer (2016-2017). |

| Dr. Zhan Ma is on the faculty of the School of Electronic Science and Engineering, Nanjing University, China. He received his Ph.D. from the New York University in 2011, and his B.S. and M.S. from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 2004 and 2006 respectively. From 2011 to 2014, he worked in several research labs in USA focusing on video coding standardization and codec ASIC design. Dr. Ma’s research focuses include computational imaging, and neural media communication. Dr. Ma was awarded the 2018 PCM Best Paper Finalist, 2019 IEEE BTS Best Paper Award, 2020 IEEE MMSP Grand Challenge Best Image Coding Solution, and 2020 SPIE ICMV Camera Illumination Contest First Prize. |
